About Jason
I am a husband father and grandfather. I was born and raised in Cornwall. I’ve never stopped believing in the strength of this community. I am a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s Secondary School and St. Lawrence College, where I learned the value of hard work, education and local pride.
For nearly two decades, I’ve worked at IBM helping solve complex problems for large multi-nationals organizations. That experience has taught me how to listen, work through challenges, bring people together and focus on practical solutions. These are skills that I believe and make a real different at City Hall.
I was raised with a sense of community and giving back. Service has always been important to me. For more that 35 years, I have been volunteering in our community with a variety of organizations, non-profits, and youth sporting clubs, because I have always believed in stepping up and contributing when and where you can. Since the last municipal election I have served on three City committees, doing my best to help shape our community and be a part of the conversation on issues that matter to residents.
I also served as the Vice-Chair of ACCFutures which is a local non-profit that supports entrepreneurs and businesses in SD&G and Akwesasne. Through that work I have seen firsthand the importance of supporting local growth, encouraging innovation and creating real opportunities here at home.
I am running for Council because I care deeply about Cornwall and believe I can bring a thoughtful practical approach to the table. One rooted in problem solving, community service, fiscal responsibility and genuine commitment to this city.
